Officially Managing/Marketing 10 Websites!

We just closed a new customer, bringing our portfolio of sites to 10!

Of course, we have some more potential customers in the works, but this mark of double digit websites is a proud moment for our company.

Writing Good SEO Content: Finding Good Keyword Opportunities

You already know what you and your business are able to do for people.

However, the key to internet marketing is letting people know that you are able to do it. Finding good keyword opportunities is one of the best ways to remind your readers and Google what you do and why people should go with your business over other businesses.

When it comes to writing good SEO content for a website, knowing when and where to place keywords into your content is crucial to communicating to potential customers what you can do for them. Therefore, it is crucial to find good keyword opportunities (vs. just putting keywords in any old place on your site): to place keywords in an area of your content that reads naturally, while still reminding your potential clients what your product is and what you can do for them.

So, for example, let’s say you have a business selling specialty sneakers. More specifically, your best selling items are high-end basketball shoes. Let’s also assume that, in order to bring people to your site, the keywords “high-end basketball shoes” are the best keywords you can put into your content.

Throughout the content of your site, you may already have a bunch of hyperlinks linking to your “Products” page that read: “If you want to check out more of our products, please visit our Productspage.” However, since you specialize in selling high-end basketball shoes, it would be much better from an SEO perspective (and from an internet marketing perspective in general) to write: “If you want to check out more of our extensive selection of high-end basketball shoes, please visit our Products page.”

The idea here is to take every good opportunity you can to remind both your readers and Google what your services and products are. Any website that sells any product in the world could write into their content:  “If you want to check out more of our products, please visit our Products page.” Yet, what sets apart good internet marketing from bad internet marketing is setting your product apart from other products. Also, in terms of competing within your own particular market, you are reminding your customers that your selection of products is “extensive.” Going further, being that your product is “high-end,” this means that you have a unique selling point over other companies who may sell the same type of product. This is because the competition’s product still may not be high-end like yours.
